Gerina-Piller

She was born in Roswell on March 29, 1985. Gerina is the full name of her. Gerina Stevenson, the child of Mexican parentage Rita Stevenson and Alan Stevenson. Stevenson is American and is of Mexican American heritage. At a very young age her drive to become active in sports was strong. Gerina took up golf when she reached the age of 15. Gerina finished her high-school education at Goddard High School. As a high-school student she won in the New Mexico Golf State Tournament. She was a volleyball player and was also a participant in state tournaments. She was a student at in the University of Texas in 2003. In her senior year, she won each tournament that was entered. During the undergraduate year, she received the Conference USA's player of the year as well as UTEP Female Athletic of Year.
