Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd began her journey into combat sports at the young age of fourteen. Along with BJJ as well, she was also trained in wrestling, boxing and kickboxing. In the age of 18, she made her first appearance as an amateur in WCFC. Ladd became more confident after the win and fought 3 fights at Ultimate Reno Combat. Her opponents were all defeated by the start of the round. Then, she went to WCFC again and beat Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen was able to defeat Silvia Babaeghian, and Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo at WCFC 9. Cynthia defeated Aspen by unanimous decision. The loss put a mark on Ladd's amateur record. Ladd defeated Roma Pawelek on Tuff n Uff, and increased her amateur record to 8-1. Aspen made her professional debut in 2015 and signed with Invicta FC to make her professional debut. Aspen fought Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11, where she dominated her to secure a first-round TKO. Invicta Fighter Championships 16. She took her next bout against Amanda Cooper through a second-round Armbar submission. Aspen used superior wrestling to beat McGill in the third round via TKO. Aspen then faced Jessica Hoy, at Invicta FC 18. Aspen fought Hoy as a catchweight (138.1lb) since Ladd did not gain weight. Aspen still dominated Hoy until she was defeated in the 2nd round via TKO. Her final fight with Promotion, she defeated Sijara Eubanks in a unanimous decision at Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut at UFC Fight Night 118 against Lina Lansberg. She outclassed Lina with a combination of ground and pound. She won the TKO round in the 2nd. Then, in her third fight she beat Tonya Evinger with a more stunning victory. Ladd defeated Evinger in the opening round. She also received an outstanding performance bonus. Her first fight of note came during her subsequent fight in UFC Fight Night dos Anjos vs. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in the Invicta FC rematch. Ladd won the fight of the night bonus fight after the two fighters engaged in a fierce combat. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd after 16 seconds, breaking her streak to win. in the 3rd round on UFC on ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. She took on Norma Dumont as a substitute for her fight last time with the UFC at UFC Fight Night 195. The fight ended in an unanimous decision.
