Allison Pregler Bio

Allison Pregler reviews Z-grade films, usually horror and martial arts. Similar to The Cinema Snob in that she likes action-oriented films that are dumb. After gaining some fame in the forums on Channel Awesome (under her previous handle Obscurus Lupa), she began to review in late 2009. Beginning in early 2015 she was on the website while Obscurus Lupa Presents transformed to Movie Nights. There are two podcasts she hosts on the channel. Both cover the Charmed series, and are hosted by Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. Ninja the Mission Force shows her in action in the role of Interpol Ninja Cheetah. Brad Jones' film Jesus Bro! also starred her. She has also been a as a guest on some episodes of his show Midnight Screenings. She reviews horrible films aimed at children, or RiffTrax shows, as well occasionally, she reviews adult comedy (including Baywatch (2017)). The first time she reviewed movies was in 2009. When she gained acclaim on Channel Awesome forums, she was invited to join the reviewer family. She has made numerous appearances throughout Channel Awesome, from Atop the Fourth Wall through Phelous & the Movies. She was part of Channel Awesome along with Doug Walker.
